I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great 2012 to all my students and their families!  I know how busy this season is and I hope that everyone is able to take some time just to enjoy your families and all that they have accomplished this past year.

We’re celebrating our first Christmas with all our extended families since 2007 so our kids have been very excited that we’ve already celebrated 3 Christmas’ and have 2 more still to go!  This also means that they have had more opportunities to play for their grandparents, cousins and extended family.  My youngest one, especially, seems to love being able to show everyone how well she’s doing at piano.

For my students, remember to keep playing the piano and have fun doing it.  See how many “I am a Star” pages you can fill up with all your concerts.  Go to the piano and see if there is any music in you that just is waiting to come out – just because it is written already doesn’t mean that it might not be great – so use your imagination and create your own musical masterpieces!
