Music for Young Children is it’s 34th year and has an International Composition Festival that every student has the chance to participate in.  This year approximately 8,700 students participated from Canada, South Korea, USA, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.  These participants included my 32 students and the songs that they composed were pretty amazing!  I loved hearing them all and even had fun playing them for my family!

I wanted to say a special CONGRATULATIONS to Sunbeam 2 student Jiayang Jessica Rong as she received an Honorable Mention in the Composition Festival.  Above is a copy of her great composition, ‘Little Pinky’.
