It’s official – in 1 week and 1 day my MYC classes will be starting!!!  I’m really excited to continue teaching a great bunch of students and to welcome a new group to the program!

Classes will begin on September 2 (Tuesday), September 3 (Wednesday) and September 4 (Thursday).  All you will need to bring to class is yourself, your child and the post-dated cheques that I have emailed everyone about.

If you haven’t registered with me already then unfortunately it’s too late for this year, as all my level one (beginner) classes are full.  The only availability that I have is Sunbeams 2, with the prerequisite of Sunbeams 1 or Sunshine 2.  There are other teachers in Barrhaven and Findlay Creek that may still have availability which you can find at www.myc.com.  If you are wanting to be on a waiting list it would be for the 2015/2016 year.

If you have a younger child (ages 2.5-4) that you are interested in taking the non-keyboard Sunrise program there is a new teacher in our neighborhood (Riverside South) offering classes this September!  Her name is Julian Webb and her website is http://www.myc.com/teacher/jwebb.  Her classes are on Saturdays @ 9:15am class, beginning on September 20th.   If you are interested please contact Julian – the classes are a lot of fun for both the child and the parent and also help to give your child a great foundation in rhythm and ear training as they move into a keyboard program in following years.
