MYC’s International Composition Festival 2015  has come to a close.  This is the 28th year that Music for Young Children has held their International Composition Festival and a total of 7942 compositions were submitted from around the world – Canada, the U.S., New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam.

Every student from Sunshine 1 to Moonbeams 3 that I teach participated in this event and I loved listening to everyone’s songs.  A special CONGRATS to  Matthew Himyary in Sunshine 1 for an Honorable Mention for his original composition entitled “Hockey, Score!”.  Below is a copy to check out and give a listen to.  Great job everyone!!!
